At The Travel Diary, we give bloggers a platform to voice their opinion on the places they have visited. We give you the easiest way to write about your holidays to share with your family and friends, whilst giving you the opportunity to make money from your posts. No maintenance required, no web design skills need and it doesn’t cost you a penny.
The Travel Diary works with many big name hotel, flight and travel sites, who offer commission per transaction.
How it works
Once approved, you will be given login details, where you can write blog posts about your personal experiences and our admin team will review the posts, and add links to affiliate sites on relevant sections of the blog posts. For each transaction that occurs directly from your blog posts, you as the blogger will receive 100% of the commission.
Not all blog posts will be published and not all blogger requests will be accepted. The site needs to stay informative, relevant and interesting. It is the decision of our admin team as to whether you’re accepted, or your blog posts are accepted.
If you would like advice on how to write a good blog post, then just send us a message on our Facebook page and our admin team will be happy to talk to you about it.
The Star Team
The Star Team are our top authors who are hand picked by The Travel Diary admin team. The Star Team receive amazing benefits such as free hotel stays, money off in top restaurants, freebies and even discounts on flights. To be considered for The Star Team, you must post regularly, with interesting, balanced content, giving our readers a better idea of what to expect if they visit the same places that you do. The decision to invite somebody to become a member of The Star Team also comes down to popularity. Therefore, the more times your posts are shared, commented on, retweeted, liked and most of all read, our team will be more likely to invite you to join The Star Team.
Being part of The Star Team is completely free, and you don’t need to accept the offers for hotels and free holidays if you are too busy, or you just don’t fancy that specific offer. Sometimes, accommodation managers or owners request one of our Star Team to visit their place in return for a blog post solely about that trip. When a visit request occurs, the admin team choose a member of The Star Team, and offer them the free visit, in return for a post – it’s that simple.
